ROOFTOP Oasis: The ROOFTOP GARDEN WITH A VIEW
At District House, we've transformed the rooftop into a lush and vibrant green space that’s as sturdy as it is beautiful! The meadow areas are in prime condition with no erosion in sight, thanks to solid planning and good plant diversity. (Don't worry, the tenants stay out of these areas, so the plants can thrive in peace.) The raised planters are bursting with colorful Allium schoenoprasum and the striking Allium ‘Summer Beauty’. While a few Sesleria autumnalis grasses from the original design didn’t survive the first winter, the alliums are doing what they do best – bringing life and color to the rooftop. It’s a perfect example of how thoughtful design can create a sustainable, high-impact green space.
