Become an Administrative Assistant with Ecogardens!
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to be based in the city of Chicago to assist with a variety of tasks essential to our day to day operations. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude that embraces our mission and has the ability to multi-task effectively. The ideal candidate is resourceful, a good problem solver, and organized. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely from home or at times in the field conducting site visits, attending meetings, etc.
Project administration including customer and vendor communication, light bookkeeping/job costing, and entering of contracts into our system
Management of contract renewals
Materials sourcing and procurement
Some marketing duties including activity surrounding sales drip campaigns
Shipping product samples
Sales support including lead follow ups, site condition verification, and submitting data sheets to customers
Strong Microsoft office skills including PP, Word, and Excel as well as Adobe experience is required
Must have a clean driving record
Exceptional communication skills
Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects on time is a must
Comfortable working outside is required—this is not solely a desk or office position
Experience with Quickbooks strongly preferred
Experience in the landscaping industry a plus
