JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to be based in the city of Chicago to assist with a variety of tasks essential to our day to day operations. We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude that embraces our mission and has the ability to multi-task effectively. The ideal candidate is resourceful, a good problem solver, and organized. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely from home or at times in the field conducting site visits, attending meetings, etc. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Project administration including customer and vendor communication, light bookkeeping/job costing, and entering of contracts into our system

  • Management of contract renewals

  • Materials sourcing and procurement

  • Some marketing duties including activity surrounding sales drip campaigns

  • Shipping product samples

  • Sales support including lead follow ups, site condition verification, and submitting data sheets to customers

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong Microsoft office skills including PP, Word, and Excel as well as Adobe experience is required

  • Must have a clean driving record

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects on time is a must

  • Comfortable working outside is required—this is not solely a desk or office position

  • Experience with Quickbooks strongly preferred

  • Experience in the landscaping industry a plus
